Institute for Portfolio Alternatives

The Institute for Portfolio Alternatives is the trade body for alternative investments. Its site is mostly paper: comment letters, event agendas and member pages, read on whatever people happen to open them on. The identity is The Lodge’s, and we work on the site with them, keeping its events, its advocacy library and its membership current month by month.

The IPA homepage open on a laptop at a front table in a conference ballroom, the audience seen from behind facing a stage washed in violet light.
Four IPA conference cards side by side on the site’s night colour: AltsGlobal, Wealth in amber, Summit in teal and Vision in violet.
Two panels from the IPA Events page, Leading Events and Significant Scale, each ending in a violet tile: 1,800+ attendees and $40T+ in assets.
The top of the IPA Library and Comment Letters page: the title beside two violet discs, a marble column, and the first lines on comment letters.

Sound Advice

Sound Advice is a boutique music company in Los Angeles, representing artists, producers and brands. In its own words, its specialty is clients who don’t fit the normal industry boxes. For a company that sells taste, the site had to be something you play, not a page you read. We built it in Webflow as a hi-fi console: the playlist is the navigation, and the TV plays their work.
