A brand project is decided in its first week. Everything after that is drawing what was agreed, so the first week is the one to be in the room for.
Ten days or five weeks
If the brand is sound and only looks different everywhere it shows up, it needs a reset: ten working days, from $8,500. We audit every place it lives, fix the rules for the logo and the type, measure the contrast of every color pairing, and build the Brand Rules into your site with a Live Guidelines page.
If the brand itself is in question, that is a new brand. It starts at $20,000 and runs three to five weeks.
Week by week
Week one is strategy and direction: who it is for, what it has to say, and where it sits beside the others in your market. Nothing is drawn until that is agreed.
Weeks two and three are the design. You see three directions for the logo and choose one. That one is refined, with the type and the color built around it.
Week four puts it to work: the brand on the things you actually make, and the Brand Rules written from those.
Week five is delivery: the files, the Live Guidelines page and the handoff.
What we ask of you
Two rounds of review in each phase, and one person who can decide. After two rounds it is $300 an hour, quoted and approved in writing before the work starts.
What you have at the end
A strategy brief. The logo in every format. The Brand Rules, as a Live Guidelines page. Color with the contrast checked. A type system with its licensing noted. And the brand shown on real pieces, not on a mockup of a tote bag.
If the site is being built too, brand and site are one job: from $45,000 over six to ten weeks.
