Case study

Memory House

Memory House is a video production company in New York and Denver, shooting commercial and branded work for agencies and brands. David Chang, their director and director of photography, came with his own ideas for the site, and a couple of short meetings settled the direction: the film first, and the site out of its way. We designed and built it to screen that work one piece at a time.

Year2025

The Memory House homepage on a display in a dark sound stage, a rider lit alone in a pool of light, a figure watching from behind beside a camera on its tripod.
The foot of the Memory House work page: the lower halves of two films, and under them LET’S WORK TOGETHER in heavy capitals over the studio’s address.

Sub Urban

Sub Urban is a singer, songwriter and producer from New Jersey, back with a second album, If Nevermore. Almost everything a fan comes for lives on another service: the streams, the tickets, the store. So the homepage has to be a place in its own right. We designed and built it in Webflow as a Minesweeper board, with the tour, the videos and the store under its tiles.

The Sub Urban homepage: a red Minesweeper board over a torn red and black sky, the menu words set into its rows of tiles.
